Orders for in-stock items will be processed within 3 to 5 business days and shipped within 5 to 10 business days, depending on item availability (excluding holidays). Once your order is ready to be shipped, we will update your order status and provide a tracking confirmation number if available.

Orders with multiple items may be filled from several locations and arrive separately. Under this circumstance, you will not incur additional shipping charges.

Some items that are made to order (including some made to order wallpapers, canvases, and furniture) may take 3 – 15 weeks to be processed through our workshop. See the product details for your selected product to see how soon it's expected to ship.


Custom options include made-to-cut wooden letters, personalised wall art, personalised books, handcrafted toys, and home, nursery, and wedding decor. Allow up to 14 business days for any custom printed, engraved, and personalised item and 2 to 6 weeks* for custom made-to-order items.

* Our normal shipping timelines have been compromised due to the high demand for personalised and made-to-order items. As such, some customer orders can take 1– 2 weeks to be processed through our studio, whereas other orders can take up to 6 weeks. See the product details for your selected product to see what options are available.


DHL Express and Royal Mail Special delivery services are available upon request. To expedite your order, please email us at info@thedutchhospital.com for prompt order instructions. We accept expedited orders Monday through Friday, 6 am-6 pm GMT+0.

Please note: Immediate shipments depend on item availability. Priority overnight and 2-day rates will be based on your shipping address, shipment weight, and packaging.


You can get rush delivery of your order, but production time may vary. Allow up to 3 business days for expedited personalised prints and up to 5 business days for expedited personalised wooden letters and Old Toy Story items to be processed. 

We need prompt order instructions for all expedited orders, including when you need to receive the order, additional contact details such as phone/mobile number and email address and special delivery instructions such as whether you require a signature on delivery or delivery to a safe place at your own risk. This is because the majority of our international customers prefer to deliver parcels to a safe place. If we have specified that an adult signature is required on delivery, you cannot authorise delivery release online via FedEx and DHL. This may cause a delay in your delivery.  

If you have general questions about expediting your order or if you notice an error on your order, contact us at info@thedutchhospital.com within 2 hours. There are varying time limits for cancelling your order. We can't accept any changes or cancellations of custom made-to-order or personalised orders after 2 hours.
