The Dutch Hospital is a small, family-owned luxury lifestyle and home décor business based in Buckinghamshire. Trading as The Dutch Hospital (Luxury Lifestyle) since 2014, the company was founded by a British–Sri Lankan couple united by a shared passion for design, travel, and the art of living beautifully.

What began as a humble e-commerce venture soon evolved into a curated collection of unique and eclectic pieces — inspired by discoveries from around the world and the belief that every object should tell a story.

In May 2019, The Dutch Hospital opened its first boutique store at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre in Milton Keynes, introducing a new destination for those who appreciate craftsmanship, curiosity, and the unexpected. Despite the challenges that soon followed, the business thrived, earning a loyal following of customers who value authenticity, artistry, and the beauty of the extraordinary.

By 2022, the store had outgrown its original space and relocated to a new location within the centre — over ten times larger — allowing for a more expansive and immersive showcase of home décor, furniture, art, and natural curiosities.

In 2025, The Dutch Hospital embarked on its next chapter, moving into its current home at 55 Midsummer Place — a vibrant, inspiring setting in the heart of Milton Keynes Shopping Centre.

Today, The Dutch Hospital continues to celebrate individuality and imagination through an ever-evolving collection of treasures — from antique finds and artisanal creations to contemporary designs — all chosen to bring beauty, character, and soul to every home.
