Important Information
Please note that, in accordance with EU consumer law, customers exercising their right of withdrawal are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless otherwise agreed. This policy applies to all orders returned under the EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal.
As a UK-based seller, we kindly ask that if you decide to cancel your order, you contact us as soon as possible and, where possible, before the order has been dispatched. While this does not affect your legal right to withdraw after delivery, cancelling before dispatch can help avoid unnecessary shipping costs, customs charges, taxes, handling fees, and administrative costs associated with international returns.
Condition of Returned Goods
Returned goods should be sent back in their original packaging, together with any accessories, certificates of authenticity, and any other items supplied with the order, where possible.
Customers are expected to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in their possession. The goods may be inspected as would reasonably be permitted in a retail store; however, they should not be used beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functionality.
If the goods are returned damaged, incomplete, excessively handled, missing parts, missing packaging, or in a condition that results in a loss of value, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund to reflect that loss in value, as permitted by applicable law.
The customer is responsible for the returned goods until they are received by us. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service. If returned goods are lost or damaged during transit back to us, the customer may be responsible for any resulting loss.
For all other returns, including UK orders and international orders not covered by the EU Right of Withdrawal, our standard Returns Policy and Damaged Goods Policy will apply.
If you have any questions regarding your order, delivery, product information, returns, or your right of withdrawal, please contact us at info@thedutchhospital.com. We will be happy to assist you.
