  • Support: We are always here to help. Whether you are in the UK or shopping internationally, we strive to ensure every bespoke creation reaches you in perfect condition.

2. Secure Payments & Global Transactions

  • No Phone Payments: To ensure your financial security, we do not take payments over the phone.

  • Secure Platforms: We accept payments only through secure, internationally recognised platforms: Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, or Direct Bank Transfer.

  • International Orders: Customers outside the UK are responsible for any local import duties, taxes, or currency conversion fees applied by their local customs office.

3. Shipping, Backorders & Local Pickup

  • Worldwide Delivery: We offer secure shipping globally. We share your name, address, and mobile number with trusted couriers (Royal Mail, DPD, DHL) solely for delivery and tracking updates.

  • Backorders: Items marked as "Backordered" typically ship within 4 weeks.

  • Click & Collect: Free local pickup is available from our studio at 55 Midsummer Place, Milton Keynes.

4. Returns, Damages & Bespoke Items

  • 30-Day Returns: We offer a 30-day return policy for standard, non-bespoke items. Items must be returned in their original, resaleable condition.

  • Bespoke/Personalised Items: Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, personalised or made-to-order items are exempt from the right to cancel or return unless they arrive damaged or faulty. Please ensure all custom details are correct at the time of purchase.

  • Damaged Items: Please report any damaged or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery. In these cases, we provide a full refund or replacement.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright Protection

The Dutch Hospital takes great pride in our creative integrity.

  • Original Content: All photographs, item descriptions, website copy, and concept design ideas (including bespoke prints and nursery collections) are the exclusive property of The Dutch Hospital.

  • Strict Prohibition: We use our own professional photography and unique data. Copying, reproducing, or distributing our original designs, photos, or data for commercial use is strictly prohibited. * Legal Action: Any unauthorised use of our imagery or design concepts will be met with direct legal action to protect our brand and our independent designers.
