The Sutton Hoo helmet is an intricately decorated Anglo-Saxon helmet discovered in 1939 during the excavation of the Sutton Hoo ship burial. Considered one of the most important archaeological finds in British history, it dates to around 625 AD and is widely associated with King Rædwald of East Anglia. Its elaborate design suggests it may have also served a symbolic role similar to a crown. You can see the original Sutton Hoo Helmet at the British Museum in London.
