Odyssey – Medusa is a figure from Greek mythology, one of the three Gorgons. She is usually shown as a woman with snakes for hair, whose gaze could turn people to stone. Medusa was once mortal and was later slain by the hero Perseus, making her one of the most powerful and recognisable mythological figures.
