The Art of Japanese – Original reproduction of art from one of the world’s greatest treasures from The Great Wave of Kanagawa to mesmerizing silk brocades kimonos.

Ukiyo-e literally means 'pictures of the floating world'. The 'floating world' referred to the licensed brothel and theatre districts of Japan's major cities during the Edo period. As ukiyo-e achieved an unprecedented popularity in the 1800s, bijin (beautiful women) were the stars of this period.
